"Sandy Ridge Academy provided a top notch educational experience for my daughter. Over the span of two years that she attended Sandy Ridge, Megan has grown tremendously in her academics. The teachers and staff provide an environment which stimulates and encourages creativity, and nurtures emotional development in a caring and positive manner. Ms. Evelyn and Ms. Eileen give frequent updates on academic performances and set new goals accordingly. I, as well as my daughter, feel confident in her abilities as she enters Kindergarten because of the experience she has had at Sandy Ridge Academy."

"We were very fortunate to have found Sandy Ridge Academy for our 4-year old daughter! We wanted her to be in a structured school environment before beginning Kindergarten this fall. She absolutely loved her school, her friends, and Miss Evelyn! In less than a year, our daughter accomplished many academic goals such as writing her first and last name, learning the alphabet, letter sounds, adding, subtracting, etc… We can’t thank everyone enough for supporting our child and providing her a memorable preschool experience. Our daughter enjoyed her time at Sandy Ridge and I would recommend this school to anyone!!!"
- K. Tunche, mother
"I simply cannot say enough about Sandy Ridge Academy! It is a little Model UN – both the student body and curriculum are a reflection of diverse cultures, backgrounds and abilities!
My daughters are a year apart and in a mixed-age class and their teacher, Miss Evelyn, magically and masterfully engages each of them on their very individual skill levels and learning styles so that they are both getting what they need and being challenged in a meaningful way each day. The staff goes out of their way to give us updates of what is going on in the classroom so that we can get a solid sense of what and how the children are learning and our children can feel proud of their achievements and empowered to keep it up – and do more! My oldest is beyond prepared for Kindergarten and this year has been the difference.
Our family is proud to be a part of Sandy Ridge and we just cannot imagine another school home for our girls!"
- K. Williamson, mother
"Our daughter began attending Sandy Ridge when she was 22 months old. She has now blossomed into a very sociable 3 year old at Sandy Ridge Academy! The academics, arts, discipline and the care are the best that any parent would want for their kids. The teachers at Sandy Ridge do not let kids stagnate in the skills they develop, but push them to Strive. Reach. and Achieve beyond milestones per each child's potential. The goal oriented learning plans developed by teacher- parent collaboration has helped my daughter become more independent in self-care practices as well as has led her to become a curious learner with an extensive vocabulary. Sandy Ridge teachers are not afraid to get their hands and clothes dirty as they give kids a taste of home Econ and agriculture. I'm glad we chose Sandy Ridge Academy...and will choose it again for my second one!"
- D. Abraham, mother
"When I drop my son off at Sandy Ridge Academy every day, I know that I am leaving him in a supportive and structured environment. The amazing and highly qualified staff at Sandy Ridge Academy cares as much as my husband and I do about our son’s educational success and his social emotional well-being. The student body is diverse and the curriculum is geared to preparing the children for kindergarten. My only regret when I think about Sandy Ridge Academy is that I didn’t find them sooner. It is really a special, one of a kind school and I can not adequately express how grateful I am for the growth and development I have seen in my son since he started attending this school."
- Lucy M., mother
“My husband and I are so pleased with the progress our daughter has been making at Sandy Ridge Academy. She just turned two, but the other day she began naming the days of the week - we didn't even realize she knew them! The teachers at Sandy Ridge are so skilled at providing instruction through play that our daughter doesn't even perceive that she's "learning" - she just knows it's a lot of fun to go to school. We are grateful that our daughter has the opportunity to receive such a high-quality pre-school education in such a caring and supportive environment.”
- A. Miller, mother
“I don't have enough words to praise the work of Ms. Eileen and Ms. Evelyn. They are absolutely amazing educators!!! They follow in the most natural of ways (it's their way of living, living by what they teach!) the best educational principles that any parent can wish for his child to be exposed to. They instill love for learning and exploration (an absolutely necessary asset in the information world we live in!) and cultivate the taste for the aesthetic (developing their cognitive powers) in these young but so receptive minds!!! From the most simple of gestures to the most complicated art projects, the children are taught at every moment to be inquisitive, to make connections in order to better grasp the world... and, with such human value!!! To appreciate human diversity and thus to respect and love their peers. I feel that the kind of education offered at Sandy Ridge Academy is the surest way for our children and our society to thrive!”
- Claudia Gotea, mother
“The teachers take their time with the children. I feel the children each get one to one care and education. The staff informs me about everything that they are doing. Caitlin has improved in her math, reading, and spelling skills. Sandy Ridge Academy makes it easy for the children to learn.”
- Angela Anom, mother
“I like everything about Sandy Ridge Academy. Daniella has been learning a lot. Daniella loves the teachers. She enjoys school. She prefers to be at school rather than at home. On the weekend, she goes to the door and wants to go to school.”
